UAW presidential candidate Will Lehman recorded this statement in Columbus, Ohio on Wednesday, after speaking with teachers striking in defense of public education.

The statement was recorded prior to a “conceptual” agreement announced early Thursday morning between the Columbus Education Association (CEA) and the school board. The union is seeking to shut down the strike before teachers have the ability to see, let alone vote on, a contract.
